Remember the board game Mouse Trap? Where you had to successfully navigate through a series of ‘mouse traps’ to win the game. That’s the inspiration behind this modern quilt pattern!

It’s designed as a skill builder that focuses on learning several piecing techniques (curves, angles, working with templates, etc.), and offers lots of composition play with no less than 4 abstract layouts and 3 block layouts to play with.

The Mouse Trap quilt is made up of 12 unique modern quilt blocks that focus on different geometric shapes. The fun is playing with those shapes to create new abstract ‘mouse trap’ layouts.
